
World No. 1 Nelly Korda outlasted Lexi Thompson, Lydia Ko and defending champion Sei Young Kim by making a birdie on the first playoff hole to capture the 2021 Pelican Women's Championship presented by Konica Minolta and Raymond James. Korda bounced back from a triple bogey on the par-4 17th at Pelican Golf Club by carding back-to-back birdies on No. 18, from 21 feet in regulation and 23 feet the first hole of a four-way playoff, to capture her fourth victory this season and seventh of her career.
During the final round of the 2021 Pelican Women's Championship, the tournament announced a three-year extension with the LPGA Tour through 2025, with the purse increasing to $2 million starting in 2022.
