The Pelican Women's Championship Presented by Konica Minolta and Raymond James brings the greatest female professional golfers in the world to the Tampa-Clearwater area! Come check out the stars of the game like Lexi Thompson, Brooke Henderson, Nelly Korda and Lydia Ko – and longtime fan favorites like Natalie Gulbis, Morgan Pressel and more. We invite you and your family and friends to come out and experience the excitement of women's professional golf at the pristine Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida.
The Pelican’s 18-hole golf course, designed with inspiration from Donald Ross’ original layout, can play to a par 70, 7,000 yards, and features lush greenery, undulating terrain, and crushed quartz sand. Every detail has been artfully designed and planned to perfection. Although the course is rooted in the beauty of old-world courses of the past, its infrastructure is state of the art. It features manicured fairways and uninterrupted rough with greens and tees maintained at the highest levels.
The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) is one of the longest-running women's professional sports associations in the world. The LPGA Tour and the LPGA Teaching and Club Professionals (T&CP) comprise the backbone of what has become the premier women's professional sports organization in the world today. The LPGA maintains a strong focus on charity through its tournaments, its grassroots junior and women's programs, and its LPGA Foundation.
Caring for our Community
The LPGA and its tournament partners have donated more than $200 million to charities throughout the United States and in international territories. We take our place in the community seriously, whether it's visits to local schools or food banks, serving on community boards, or working with our partners and fans to funnel charity dollars to where they are needed most.
Dan Doyle Sr. and Dan Doyle Jr. - owners of Pelican Golf Club - are also highly committed to giving back in our community. Since they founded DEX Imaging in 2002, they've donated one third of all company profits to employees and local non-profits. For more than 40 years, the Doyle family has impacted countless local nonprofits including Berkeley Preparatory School, Jesuit High School, Academy Prep, Morton Plant Mease Hospital, R'Club, PARC, National Pediatric Cancer Foundation and Special Operations Warrior Foundation.
